    intermittent ignition switch

It goes like this: vroom vroom, chug, chug, chug. Sometimes when I go to start it, I think it's on and then when I switch the run switch on the Oil and Nuteral lights go off. Turning the ignition switch back and forth at the run position usually cures the problem till the next time. I have a new switch on order (K&L).
    Any other possible causes?

Believe it or not, you can actually disassemble the ignition switch and possibly repair it.

It is just a pair of contact plates and bearings, which can corrode over time, or lose contact due to dirt build-up. The bearings establish the contact between the plates.

After one bearing was lost, I used a copper-coated BB instead, and it worked fine.

If you choose to try repair, do it inside a clear, plastic, bag to avoid losing tiny parts.
