thats a mechanical advancer for sure but not a dyna button as i thought.

        bigger pics

Heres some better pics if you still need them. So we established that I have a stock "set back" signal generator. Thanks for the help. What else will I need?

Heres how I see my options:

        1. Quit fooling around and get the Dyna-S setup. (budget restrictions)

        2. Get the rest of the equipment I need second hand (Ive contacted several members with igniters for sale. The problem is I dont know which ignitor I need or if I need a different timing advance unit.)

        3. File the whole idea under unnecessary and set points periodically

        What do you guys suggest?

honestly the dynaS will be the cheapest way in my opinion.
maybe a good used one...look around or post in the classified's...you never know.

          also...
i call them a "set back" just because how it looks.
the other triggers are flat all the way across.

BTW, I noticed on mine, when the pic opens in the new tab, i can hold CTRL and use the scroller on my mouse instead of the plus sign.
