Is the electrical system of a 1983 GSX750ES the same as a GS750? I am trying to test the values for my stator.

    Thanks

        Hi,

Too add a little more historical information, when the GS line was updated with 16 valve engines (4 valves per cylinder) they were labeled in most of the world as "GSX". However in the US, even after the 16 valve engines came out, the "X" was not put into the model name until several years later. So the 1983 GSX750 is basically the same as a 1983 GS750.
