Faulty Ignition Coil?
it looks like there is no spark on my no. 1 cylinder. No. 3 is working well. It is possible that the ignition coil is not good? I'll exchange the plug wire and see if is OK.Tags: None

Would this be on a motorcycle? A Suzuki motorcycle? Possibly a GS motorcycle?
Model, year, displacement, things like that probably help.
If you put them in your signature, it would help everyone, including yourself.

I haven't seen Cliff's testing of the coils, wires and ignition, but he always has good information, so I would start there. And thanks for the info.

With tank off, unplug ignition coils (disconnect spade connectors)- with a decent multinmeter measure ohm resistance across the the spade connectors on the coil- should be about 4 ohm. Now remove plug caps from plug wires; then measure resisitance between these two wires- should measure about 12 kohm.1981 gs650L
