1982 GS450T T Losing half power during ride - coil issue?

    I hate that... something "seems" to have fixed it but you're not 100% sure because nothing was obviously bad.

    I went through that with the Dynatek too. Completely re-wired the mini harness adapting the coils and Dynatek to my harness and it seemed great, but started failing on the right cylinder again pretty soon after...

    I expect if it's not fixed it won't be long before you find it. At least you can rule a lot of things out now!

      Well, so far so good.....seems like the 'new' coil is working out (knock on wood). Again, it seemed to pass the static tests, but what can I say....Electrical problems are the worst to try and figure out.

      I'm just hoping that it's not something else that killed the old coil.....guess we'll see how long the 'new' one lasts.


      Other than that.....I love this bike.
