Starter grounding the positive wire??
I found out that my starter positive side bolt is being grounded. I opened the starter and put it back together but the positive bolt side stays grounded. Any ideas on what rubber washers or anything I need to keep the case from grounding the positive?Tags: None

How are you measuring that "ground" and what values are you reading?

You WILL measure a "ground" there..or at least low ohms.. that terminal goes to one brush, thru the commutator, out the other brush TO GROUND.
Does the starter SPIN when voltage is applied?? if so ..good to go!
By voltage I mean Proper volts and amps not a dead or part dead battery
