    No Spark

I have an 1980 Suzuki Gs850G. I had it running and all was well then all of a sudden I've lost spark. I've replaced the CDI, coils, plugs and plug boots and still no spark. Are pickups all I have left? Please any help is appreciated. My bike only has 28,000 miles on it and is screaming to be back on the road

With out looking at a wiring diagram which I could do for you if needed. Have you gone over the side stand saftey switch, and poss. the saftey interlock relay that it runs through also. And all connections? Grounds etc. How about voltage at the CDI. Did all 4 cyls. stop firing? Or just 1 &4 or 2 & 3. Odd that both pickups would go out at the same time. Need to olms test the pickups before replacing them if you could.Probally gonna be ok. Sound more like a wire, connection, switch, etc. Have you checked the Ign. fuse if it has one. Seems silly but who knows. Like I said I'll look at a wiring diagram at work tomorrow if I get a chance.Good luck.

Full frontal assault on ignition system? Since it seemed to suddenly lose spark, look for bad connection(s). power from fuse up to ignition switch,on thru kill switch, etc.. head to the master, some guy with same bike..

if it spins over but no spark it cant be the clutch switch or the kill switch, you need to check for power to the ignitor, pick ups and coils.

So the right coil (2 and 3) didn't spark when swapped into 1 an 4 coil spot? You better remove signal generator cover and start testing and double check connections from here to ignitor and from ignitor to ignition coils. head for step 11 in this link
