    84 750 kickstand/cutoff

    Hi guys.

Does anyone know if there is a cutoff attached to the kickstand on a 84 gs750. My light comes on and off like it should, but I can start it in gear and putting the kickstand down while in gear doesn't kill the engine. I'm trying to pass an inspection, but they said I need too fix this. Is there anything too fix?

    Thanks.

If the light goes on and off when the stand is down and up, respectively, that's all there is.

There is no "cut-off" related to the kickstand.

The only other "safety" switch is the clutch switch for the starter.

No cut off just a warning light telling you the stand is down.
