    77 gs750 hot wire

my 750 stopped running on my way home today, when i got it home i found the ignition wires under the key ignition were not connected i soldered them back on and got electricity to everything but my orange wire is still getting hot and pretty fast only after i start the bike. it seems if i let it sit for a minute and turn the key on the wire stays cool untell i hit the starter button then gets hot and stays hot im not sure where to start im thinking the starter may be a factor because it stays cool tell i hit the starter and get the bike running but not really sure any ideas???

    Hi,

    Fusebox Cleanup

    Cleaning Your Wiring Harness

Heat means resistance. Go through the entire wiring harness and clean every connection and ground.

    Thank you for your indulgence,
