Fuse box cover interferes with side cover.

    I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

      Yeah there's a build thread,it's linked in my sigI'm not Agemax,pass on the perspex and blue led's thanks.Since the side cover is a rather nice original paint example I'm NOT going to cut it up thanksI guess I can try to do a straight cut but you REALLY under estimate my ability to mess that up

        Think a flat snap on type for the C will fit on there? Even if you had to drill a hole in the C cover for the screw, it may be a viable option!!

                i dont have the LED's any more, and its not perspex, its Lexan
                1978 GS1085.

                Just remember, an opinion without 3.14 is just an onion!

                  Thanks Steve ,now Agemax is hacked with meAFIK Perspex and Lexan are trade names for the same thing Age.

                  Now for the good news,with a bit of encouragement from my friends at GSR I did indeed mod the cover.Took 6.5mm out of the "hump" and now the side cover fits.Wasn't ABS so I plastic welded to together

                    Smooth off the edges with some fine wet sand paper and paint it black..the white really clashes.

                      Lexan is actually polycarbonate, not perspex. both completely different

                          yeah i know lol,me too. nice job on the fusebox cover. thought it would be easy enough to modify.
