Turn signal replacement
Anyone have any luck with aftermarket turn signals? Where did you get them? Price? The ones on my 1983 gs550e are missing and I'm looking for a cheaper replacement set of 4.Tags: None

Head to ebay- strippers are always selling turn signal sets; lots of styles to choose from and many come with running light filament in front signals- never hurts to be more noticed! Likely have to fiddle with mounting, but it's usually pretty simple. Or go hitech and buy new LED ones!1981 gs650L

If you go with cheap ones at least make sure you get the "3 wire" or "dual filament" fronts so you retain the running lights. I got a set for 15 shipped and they work fine, but one of the housing melted slightly because the bulb socket was too close to the shell. Still works, and at that price I don't mind getting another set and then I'll have a spare on hand.

If you can't find what you are looking for on eBay or a local wrecking yard, get some new ones at Parts-n-More.
Sorry it's on the 750 page (keep scrolling down), but they are the same basic lights.
