The max current from the r/r is 15 amps. If there is a 0.25v drop what is the resistance?

0.25/15=0.016 ohms what's the resolution of your VOM?

O_o resolution of my volt meter? Probably like 20x50 pixels?

Similar to my old cell phone- very hard to see pics. Anyways very few meters read low ohms, like.016 ohms so forget resistance and look for voltage drops which even cheap meters measure well.

          Lol

          Yeah, true. Thanks

I moved the connections to straight into the voltage regulator/rectifier and shrink tubed all connections. Now I'm just waiting for my gel cell battery to recharge at Advance Auto Parts and I'll fire it up; I have to wait til after 4pm EST for it to finish charging though.

Thanks for all the help guys

Is that pixels per character or complete screen resolution? Any by the wzy the answer to my question is that your VOM probable only has 0.1 ohms resolution with probably 0.2-0.3 ohms resistance in the probes so you are not very likely to be able to measure 0.016 ohms. What you could try is get a meter with a computer interface so you can display the data on a large screen then perhaps it will be more clear.
