How do I know if my GS has the redundant stator loop
I've read somewhere that newer bikes don't have this, I'm not the greatest at reading wiring schematics . I have a 1983 gs550es . I'm ordering a stator today . Should I just wire it direct to the R/R anyways or can I plug it back in the stock wiring?Tags: None

Look in your wiring diagram. I'm too lazy to download the manual and look for you. This ain't rocket science. Unless the stator wires don't feed directly into the R/R, you got a problem.Ed
To measure is to know.
