Hi,
Reading "The Stator Papers" will increase your understanding of the GS charging system. You can also see the guides on my little website concerning R/R replacement and stator replacement. Basically, just connect the three output wires from the stator directly to the three input wires on the r/r unit. You probably have a loop of wire going up to a non-existent headlight switch. This loop of wire can be disconnected, taped, and secured out of the way as explained in my r/r replacement guide. This is the standard wiring diagram for the stator-r/r interface.

Got it. Found the stuff I needed in the technical section. Thank you. I wired straight and added the grounds I needed. Replaced the RR just in case and wala, charging perfectly.
