Directionals
My directionals started doing something interesting today. They blink as long as the bike is rolling. If I come to a stop, they stop blinking but start back up as soon as I start rolling again. Any ideas what I should start looking for?Tags: None

Just a thought, but might check battery volts and charging system. May not have enough volts when bike is just idleing for them to blink, but when you get rpms up it does? terrylee

I wonder if it could have something to due with the brake light circuit.....At stop with brakes on....possibly wires pinched together?sigpic
When consulting the magic 8 ball for advice, one must first ask it "will your answers be accurate?"

It could happen if the motor is running, the bike is idling, with lights and brake light on. If so, do they start flashing if you push up the RPM's a bit?
If so you may need to check your battery and charging system re: Stator Papers.

I'll have to try that tomorrow and see if there is a change.

Yep, next time it happens, release the brake to turn the light off. If that does not start them flashing, add some throttle to get the RPM up a bit.
I'll bet they start flashing again when you get over 2000 RPM.
