    flasher issues

Just decided to plug in my harness for my rebuild to make sure all systems are go. Everything functioned just fine except my blinkers stay solid and do not flash?! They worked just fine before it was dissasembled but now i have no flash. Other then a bad flasher, what else causes a solid state blinker on these bikes? I want to check all my options before i try a new flasher.. Since it was working fine..?

I wouldn't worry about it till you get things back together. Sounds like everything is working fine enough at this point.

Ahhhh more troubles. Just noticed the wires on the ignition connector are getting too warm for comfort .. Any ideas there? Main fuse is also feeling the heat.. Curently has a 10 amp installed

With a good sleep i woke up and got back at it. Sourced out to an incorrect power source. Switched a few connectors and i was back in business! i will either hardwire the ignition connector or replace it because i think any heat is due to some problem with the connector. It shows signs of overheating in its last life too. Maybe under rated for the current it directs.? Might jump the main fuse up to a 15amp too. I think the 10 is quite small ..
