83 GS1100G Igniter
Bike starts and after 10 minutes starts to misfire runs erratic. Tested and problem is the igniter (#32900-49420a). Transferred my igniter into another running bike and problem is recreateable. Can the igniter be fixed? Replacement is pricey are there any other alternatives? Please help.

You should be able to install a mechanical advance unit off some other large GS, then get a Dyna S. Before doing that though you might want to post in the Parts Wanted forum.Ed

Have a look at this link, unit was made for an early 1980's honda. You may be able to use it on the GS.
