first of all..i own no stock in this company..i don't work for them...saw this on a car show today and checked it out...starkpower.com...i don't think they're affilliated with ironman..but they do make some nice looking lithium motorcycle batteries...they're direct replacement and come with a charger...last ten years..or so they say...1/3 the weight..blah blah blah...thought it was worth a mention...Tags: None

Look decent. Spendy like all of them but I like the processor & the fact they bundle a charger...

Not that spendy when you take into account of a 10 year life span. Thats almost 2 batteries. I have been buying yuasa heavy duty.(made for atv/off road)and get good life from them. 5-6 years, but are a little heavierCurrent Rides: 82 GS1100E, 00 Triumph 955 Speed Triple:twistedevil:, 03 Kawasaki ZRX1200, 01 Honda GL1800, '15 Kawasaki 1000 Versys

It may be a good battery, but if they're going to claim 8-10 years lifespan, I need to see a similar warranty to back that up. Instead, their warranty is only 3 years, which anyone can get out of a flooded plate battery if they take good care of it. At 3-4x the price of a flooded plate battery, the math says the price is either break-even or more expensive over the long term. (Unless it dies just out of warranty, and then it's waaaay more expensive.)
