that magical 3M tape
I need to cover some wires on my bike & wondered if anyone has used that tape 3M makes that bonds to itself. Sort of like the OEM stuff that covers our wiring from the factory. I must admit, the concept sounds great.

If its like the splicing tape Im thinking of, It's a rubber, stretchy tape that has no adhesive on it-it adheres to itself as you've said. Its not very easy to take off however.sigpic
When consulting the magic 8 ball for advice, one must first ask it "will your answers be accurate?"

Don't say can't, as anything is possible with time and effort, but, if you don't have time things get tougher and require more effort.

130c will be a real mess on a bike harness. I use it on larger split bolt and lugged bolt connection.
Super 88 works well on harness' Although 33 is probably more than adequate.

This is the magic stuff. Water tight. Only clings to it's self. High voltage. Flexible. It's the base coat when using 130c, 30 and 88. Makes disassembly a snap.
