What do the spark plug caps look like? Do all four leads have the long caps? If so, they are most likely from a 1100E. It two are long and two short, most likely GS1000 coils.

The factory Suzuki service manual for the GS1000, early points bikes, lists the spec at "Approx.4 ohms". They do not list a tolerance. Later bikes, with electronic ignition, have the spec at "3-5 ohm". So basically, not much help by measuring if you want to determine the difference between these.

To measure is to know.

I prefer using the late '80's GSXR coils. Or '90's version. A better alternative to the original stock coils which are a little lethargic.
