    I understand you are overjoyed to have it running, but you need to do some basic checks. Look in my signature under Quick Test and perform those tests and report the numbers. You also do the measurements at the battery and not the R/R.

      I did do the measurements at the battery terminals. I will run through the tests tomorrow and report the results after work, I actually have glanced at them and used them as a guide when I started having problems

        There are subtle things to look for in the comparison of how the voltages vary and compare as you step through the test. The is still further diagnostic info I can usually glean from the data provided. The standard diagnostics are only for the most prevalent problems.
