Facing points plate, the set at rear fires the left coil ( #1 and #4 plugs). That diagram is probably real close, but the electronic ignitions probably had different colors, BUT I'm unsure.

Can't tell ya what the PO did with this bike. looks like it was in an accident or something. L forks and seat, but E stamped on the frame. Gonna look at the engine when I get home to see what that says. lol. So bike cliffs has a 79 gs850 diagram that looks right on. I just gotta get the time to get back at it tomorrow.

Ohhh cusssss! I just went back with the multimeter to check the fuses again, and low and behold the only one that looked good visually last time was actually inconspicuously burnt out... Unreal! I will get all new fuses tomorrow and see if that's all it was. Wow rookie mistake! Who knew fuses could deceive the naked eye. Hahaha

Ugh! New fuses didn't work! The PO had two 10A fuses and two 30A fuses. Haynes says all 10A except for one 15A. Could that have affected any of the bikes electrical components?
