    Coil placement

It's been a while since I dismantled my GS1100 and I'm having a hard time remembering how the coils are placed. I did label the plug wires. Is the 1 and 4 coil on the left or right side? And do plug wires leave the coils toward the front of the bike? Also, my ipad won't let me open the manual. People keep referring me to link to the manual every time I ask a question but my ipad won't open it up. So I apologize for the mundane questions.

I'm not familiar with the ipad but there should be several .pdf readers available for it. a quick look up brought up five.

1 and 4 on the left.

      Plug wires to the rear.
