    Your coil is no good because of .9 ohm primary- the primary and secondary windings are seperate (no touchee), so one measurement could be good while other is bad- like yours! Actually, I'm sorta surprised that coil didn't blow the 10 amp ignition fuse - apparently your ignitor blocked it.

    You should be able to find a replacement coil -with spade connections on coil itself (this was stock setup). If you have trouble, let me know, as I have one somewhere from parts lot pile.

      Thanks for all the help. The new ones are kind of expensive, what are your thoughts on buying used?

        Several folk here have used ones they will offer to you.
        While I prefer the hotter spark of an aftermarket coil, there is something to be said for the thrift of a used coil.

          I had a number of used ignition coils off ebay- all checked out good, though plug caps themselves might be iffy. These things seem durable- have no fear, you are unlikely to get a bad suzuki coil, especially from member on here.
