    Coil Wires

    Hi There,

One more problem. The suzuki GS650GT have 2 coils - 1 on each side. My left exhaust is not heating up and I think I traced the problem to one of the coils. One of the coils are getting "HOT" and the other not. Although I have changed over the plug wires from the one getting hot to the side that is not heating up and still same thing. Someone told me that the valves may be stuck on my 1st 2 cylinders.

Again Any help or input will be appreciated

Have you spark tested the coils.

Pull the plug out of engine put the wire on it and ground it see if it gives a spark on both sides kinda like in this video. That way you know your getting spark on both sides.

Quick video on how to check for spark plug fire in any small engine or any engine for that matter! thanks for watching!!!

The coils operate 1 & 4 and 3 & 2 so if no. 4 is getting hot then your coil is ok ( though it could be the lead - check by swapping).

More than likely a carb issue or valve problems.
