    starter relay wiring?

    Anyone know where i can find a diagram of starter relay wiring for 82 gs1100 gk.just started my project and the bike already had missing fuse box and starter relay. Fuse box is simple but confusing which wires belong on relay and where

      The "starter relay" is also called a "solenoid".

      Wiring is rather simple. One large wire connects to the battery + terminal. The other large wire connects to the input terminal on the starter. The smaller wire (yellow with green stripe) will connect to a wire in the harness that comes from the starter switch, usually via the "safety" switch in the clutch lever. The "ground" for the relay is usually through the metal case, so make sure that the plate it's bolted to has a good ground.
