    82 GS450 Battery access

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it... I want to attach a tender to my battery (and/or replace the battery- not sure how old it is). But, for the life of me, I can't access the positive terminal. I'd be happy to be able to slide the battery out, but I can't figure it out.
I feel like there's a trick I'm overlooking. (Battery access shouldn't really be this difficult, right?)

Edit - Just realized this is showing as my first post. It isn't, but I haven't posted in 6 months, and my account was locked-out.

It has been quite a while since I have had to do anything on a 450, but I seem to remember that it is easier to remove the battery if you remove its lead from the starter solenoid, then slide the cable out with the battery.

But, while you are playing with the cable at the solenoid, why not just connect your tender lead there?
    Electrically, it's the same point.

Ahh... that should work. It didn't occur to me (hence, this thread).
      Thanks!

Yup, that's the place to do it! My battery charger has a connection running from that point as well as the clock power for my Acewell gauge. Makes it a hell of a lot easier than going to battery +.
