I left my ignition on overnight.

Other than draining the battery completely, is there any harm that could come from leaving my ignition in the "on" position over night?

Not sure on electronic ignition. But I was working on my bike that had points and one of the coils got super hot.

      Start it up.

If it still runs you probably didn't hurt anything.

After charging the battery, it started right up. It should be fine. I haven't installed exhaust yet so didn't want to run it too long.
