No, nothing beats a guy I used to work with. He was "rebuilding" his Toyota Celica and came to work one day with this shattered clutch. He was all up in arms about what a defective part it was and he was going to take it back and get his money back. I asked him how he installed it, as I thought it looked suspicious. Sure enough, he had put it in backwards. Oh yeah, he left or dropped a socket into a cylinder as well.....

Wouldn't have been the first time a clutch plate had been put in backwards - often it works fine, for a couple of thousand miles.

I was at work a few weeks ago and my truck wouldn't start after work. One of the electricians coming in to work pulled his car up next to me and offered a jump. He handed me my end of the jumper cables and I looked to see which post was negative and just as I clamped it on sparks flew and the electrician about freaks out. My bad, right terminal wrong clamp! So my truck still won't start after charging awhile and he wiggles the jumper cables and one of the wires pops out of the clamp. He fixes that, then I connect my end back up and as he connects his sparks fly! He made a bad connection that time. I didn't feel as much of an idiot after that.
