    New Stator Inspection Help

This stator is new. I've noticed there are some portions of the wiring that is not completely encased in resin, not much, but a few places here and there, is this something I should be concerned about?

The wire that was wrapped on the laminated frame was insulated to prevent shorts and then after being completed they coat the finished unit with high temp epoxy to immobilize the wires. So as long as nothing can flex with thumb pressure you are probably ok.

Thank you sir. I have the SH775 too and I've been following the current discussions on wiring (not directly to battery).

For completeness the forces on the wire are related to the amount of current being generated. When you move the wire through the magnetic field to generate current there is an opposing force. That force acts on the wires and unless they are restrained they will flex a little every pulse of current which eventually work hardens the wire causing it to break.
