Harness current and frame current to ground clarification

    Hi

a direct wire from the battery(-) to the r/r(-) for the battery charging current return path to ground is in place.

A direct wire running from the engine block to the battery(-) for the engine block current return path to ground is in place.

Harness wires that are black and white currently run to the battery box mount and to the solenoid unit.
So should i run a wire from the solenoid mount to the r/r(-) in order to successfully achieve the harness current return
    path to ground??

And secondly, should i run a wire from the other battery box mount that makes contact with the frame to the r/r(-) in order
to achieve the frame current to ground return path?? (see below)

the reason i have it attaching to the other battery mounting bolt which attaches to the frame is because you had shared that the general flow of current for the harness current return path involves the ring lug at the battery box mount which picks up and returns currents from electrical devices (such as ignitors) and gets that current to flow back to the harness and then out the other ring lug (where the wiring harness connects the solenoid mount) and a wire from there to r/r(-).

    Thanks for the help.

If you look at the simplified diagram for hooking up an r/R you will see there are essentially three sources of ground return:
    battery(-)
    frame
    harness(-)

those seem seem to be the same three you mentioned. Make sure they all come together at a single clean point near the R /r so you can run a short wire to the r/r(-).
this single spot is called a Single Point Ground.
