GS1150E Left handlebar switch lever removal

I need to clean the horn button contacts, and I recall a post that said the lever needs to be rotated in order to disassemble the switch. Could anyone elaborate on the details of how to remove the switch, ie push in and rotate clocwise or other similar tips?

I raise your horn button to a left hand side control these are all similar in theory?
the horn button is 3 parts and get very dirty. first 5 are the horn button also the last 2 near bottom) .the contact plate slide out after depressing the horn button in
putting it back is fun do not difficult do this on table with a towel no roll no fly zone. the photos can be slide viewed which makes them bigger.

OK, I've answered my own question. For me, the trick was to cut the tie wrap holding the harness where it enters the housing, then the wires can be pushed away to reveal the last screw. Once the assembly comes out, make sure it has a wrap around it in case the small bits decide to go exploring. The actual switch lever stays with the housing, but is easily rotated to come free, but doesn't need to be removed to clean the contacts.
