    Ignition timing with strobe

I'm trying to time my 750 up with a timing light and my Haynes manule is a bit vauge there is 3 marks the first is marked T then there is another two with f1-4 between them.
At full advance (2.5k) I'm lining up with the last mark. And any thing below that I'm just after the second mark.

    Am I doing it right?

obviously if I'm on the next lead I'm on the f2-3 side

    Sounds good to me.

    The "T" mark is TDC.

The next mark should (might?) have an "F" next to it for "Fire".

The third mark is for checking the advanced timing.

I did use the search function. All I could find was stuff about connecting a bulb and turning it over by hand
But thanks for the answer Steve
