Instrument cluster bulb indentification (83 1100S)

"Stanley 158 HD" bulb. Does that number ring a bell for anyone who've replaced these?

Napa says they have a 158 in stock, but the guy couldn't describe it. Thanks for any input.

Yes, it's a 158 bulb, Stanley is just the brand. Stanley was OEM for many Japanese bikes. "HD" means heavy duty -- they're supposedly more vibration tolerant.

The 158 bulbs from Napa (or any auto parts store) will work fine, or you could replace them with a far more common 194 bulb. The 194 is the exact same shape, only slightly brighter.

I don't think the "HD" makes any difference -- I've never had to replace these bulbs more than once.

158 was the correct number, guess I wasn't expecting to see Stanley inside the instrument cluster. These bulbs have been out for years since my night riding adventures have dwindled, along with my eyesight.
