    Dyna ignition

I ran hot coils and upgraded wires on my GPzs. It's been ages, but I recall there being a difference in acceleration and throttle response. Can anyone provide data regarding this upgrade for an 1150?

factory ignition, run 3.0 ohm coils. The Dyna's are green . Upgrading to a Dyna "S" at the same time is S.O.P. for most any GS

Make SURE you talk to Dyna when you order the parts as the 1150 has an electronic tach & you need the resistor Dyna has for it to make the tach operate correctly. Without that resistor, the tach jumps all around. Don't ask how I know this!
