    dyna s on a 650?

so, 650s are not listed for a dyna ignition. can i retrofit the ignition from another model? I had read that grinding down a certain part of the case would make it fit but no definite decision on what id need to grind down.

    Anybody do this yet?

If you search the forums, it has been done. I believe on the 650s that the oil pressure sender is under the sig gen plate and could get shorted. Looks like there's a notch for it already in the OEM sig gen. A Dremel with a cutting wheel should work just fine; of course you will void the warranty. Really don't understand why Dyna doesn't just notch it to make it compatible...

agreed. making plates with the notch for the switch would make it easier to install but oh well. looks like ill be notching the dyna plate when i get to it!
