Are you referring to the Kill switch? Why would you want to?

No not the kill switch. The switch on the clutch mine is starting to wear out. Every now and then I have to let the clutch out and in a few times before it will start. I took it apart and you can see it is wearing down. I have a 82 gs1100gl.

yes; the clutch interlock simply breaks the signal. find the connector that feeds the clutch handle and jumper across the wires so the signal passes right through instead of having to travel through the clutch switch

Yeah that's what I was thinking. But I was worried about keeping the signal connected. So the starter disconnect switch just breaks the signal and it would not be a problem If I just ran a jumper across the wires? Thanks for the info.
