turn signal lamps with 3 wires?
I am finally putting the 750EX back together. Installing the front turn signal lamps. 1 lamp has 2 wires (ground and power)with an 1156 1 filament bulb, 1 lamp has 3 wires with a 1157 (2 filament) bulb. Which one is correct? Is there a parking lamp and turn signal in each lamp?Tags: None

Maybe I'm confused; I went and looked I have dual element (3 wire) in front (i.e.e Running lights and blinkers) and the rear must be dual wire single filament as they do not come on with key only blinker. I guess you could check the schematic for your bike to confirm.
I looked in the manual's schematic it says both front and rear are single element. It must be that I have aftermarket blinkers. The wires are in the front for running lights which apparently I have wired.
You must have a one stock and one after market.
I know I have tried to make all of mine 1157 socketed but it is very difficult to convert the sockets.Last edited by posplayr; 03-31-2015, 06:33 PM.
