GS 1150 retrofit ZZR 250 regulator

My regulator has died and I've been told the ZZR250 is a better replacement.
Its a 6 wire unit with red/white, black, brown, and 3x yellow wires.
Can anyone tell me which wires to connect where?
(the 3x yellows presumably go to the generator)
I'd guess the color coding for any Kawasaki unit would be the same.
    Any help appreciated....

You are correct with the 3 yellow wires going to the stator (it doesn't matter which ones of these go where). There black is ground, the red/white is the charging wire (goes to the battery via a fuse) and the brown is the sensor wire (goes to a +ve when the ignition is on - like the rear brake light switch wire).
    Current:
Z1300A5 Locomotive (swapped my Intruder for it), GS450 Cafe Project (might never finish it....), XT500 Commuter (I know - it's a Yamaha )

    Past:
    VL1500 Intruder (swapped for Z1300), ZX9R Streetfighter (lets face it - too fast....), 1984 GSX750EF, 1984 GSX1100EF (AKA GS1150)
And a bunch of other crap Yamahas....
