Gs1000 wire loom - end connection

Hello fellas, I'm in the midst of cleaning up my wire harness and I notice the plug at the very end( front) is a 9 pin plug, for what? Is this a factory test port? The harness seemed to wrap around the steering head feeding all the front components and then winds back and under the backbone of the frame, ending with this plug? Also where can I find the "stator papers?

I believe that plug is for one of your hand controls.

Not so. The hand controls have their own connectors, the weird part is that the wiring diagram dose not show that plug?

Yes the clocks have their own plug

Is it possibly something left over from a Vetter fairing? and a picture would do well here I think.

I'm pretty sure the standard wiring loom has two 9 pin plugs, a blue one from the left handlebar control and a off-white/clear one for the right handlebar control.

Not sure there is another one.

Edit, the loom has a 3rd 9 pin plug that connects the main console, also off-white colour, all three are located in the area under the coils.

I'm attempting to send a photo, the left switch gear has a flat 11 pin plug, the right switch gear has Only a 3 prong plug. The service manual shows a 9 pin plug during a diagnostic check of the fuel sending unit circuit?

Suzuki harness do not have diagnostic plugs.

I have discovered the mystery, on closer examination I found this new plug was scabbed into the existing harness. The bike had a huge full sport fairing kind of Rickman style, and rear set controls. The extension must have been for this. Now I have to remove and solder all scabby connections thanks again fellas
