I'm a little confused because most setups are on shop bikes so they don't have things like neutral indicators, gear indicators, or fuel gauges. I'd like to keep my creature comforts and simplify my electrical. This seems like the tool for the job, I'd just like to know if its possible to keep a near stock function from this box.

Anyone using the Motogadget M-Unit?
I've been thinking about getting one of these little guys, but I'd like to see some actual installs.

Instead of rewiring for each individual function maybe you would be better off looking at one of these that will more than cover anything on the GS line of motorcycles: http://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/Wi...PC-8/pc-8.htmlhttp://www.thegsresources.com/_forum...ine=1440711157'78 GS1000E, Dyna-S ignition, Dyna Green Coils, K&N pods, Delkevic SS 4-1 exhaust, Dynojet Stage 3 jet kit, Russell SS Brake Lines, Progressive suspension, Compu-Fire series Regulator 55402 and Advmonster cree LED headlight conversion.

There's no doubt about the motogadget stuff in terms of neat-ness!!
I'm just concerned with the quality of life after the install. I'm not really looking for a custom bike feel.
