The SH-775 is the one you want to go with.

1998 Honda ST1100 (Daily long distance rider)
1982 GS850GLZ (Daily rider when the weather is crap)

Darn, with so many daily riders it's hard to decide which one to jump on next.;)

Don't know anything about the SeaDoo or CanAm units, but you DON'T want a stock one.

The SH-775 (commonly-fitted on Polaris all-terrain vehicles) is cheaper than the Compufire, but both do the same job and do it well.

Only the few of us that have seen this thread would know that, and only because you specifically mentioned it.
Please take a moment or two and update your profile by including a location. It does not have to be a street address, or even a town, you could say "Northern France" or something generic like that. Please also feel free to add a short signature that mentions your bike, so you don't have to remember to mention it every time. Does not have to be fancy, like some of us have done, just " '78 GS750" would work.

Perhaps we should offer a page translated using Google?

Much of the information posted here (virtually all) is in English, either the Queen's or an array of merican versions.

Now sure how you can understand the responses to questions better than more general posts?

Welcome aboard, now sure who gives the GSR greeting these days. Basscliff has been on a hiatus for sometime.

Steve has graciously done the price checking for online ones- if you got a Polaris dealer near you, inquire ,cuz they might be close or willing to bargain.
