GS650E - Need ignition coil clarification... which one goes to which?

This is probably an easy one for you guys. I put the bike back together today and at first I had 2 cold cylinders, 2 and 4, now I have only one cold cylinder cylinder 4. As measured by my calibrated hand on the headers.
I checked the coils on the primary side and got 4.5 ohms, checked the secondary side and got 33.5kohms on one and 121 kohms on the other. service manual says the 121kohm one is out of spec. although the spark is there.

My coil wires say 2/4 and 1/3 on each of them - as in one coil will have one wire say 2/4 and the other say 1/3. SO... for one coil, i'd put each wire to 1 and 2, the other coil would go to 3 and 4. The FSM says each ignition coil is for 1/4 and 2/3. Total confusion now! Possible that someone swapped the coil wires? or a coil from another bike with that firing order?
I didn't get to test out my theory on whether one coil should go to 1/4 or 2/3 tonight, will do tomorrow.

Can someone confirm that each coil should go to 1/4-2/3 or 1/3-2/4?

Seeing as I have one cold cylinder, would the resistance in the secondary winding only affect one coil wire or both?

1-4 on one coil and 2-3 on the other.

Check the plug caps for proper resistance while you are at it.

    To measure is to know.

Oh so you can properly service the factory. Got it.

Would you rather have "The Factory's version of the Service Manual"?

That would, of course, be in place of "The Clymer version of the Service Manual" or "The Haynes version of the Service Manual".

At my job, I have also seen it referred to as the "Field Service Manual".

LOL. I knew it'd be an easy one, but you guys strayed a bit.

Someone must have fiddled with the wiring labels then. I'll be swapping the wires tonight. Wish me luck!

Welp... solved it. Plug wires were mislabeled for some reason. Left coil went to cylinders 1 and 4, right coil went to 2 and 3. Still had a somewhat colder cylinder so I checked the resistances of the coils (primary and secondary) those were good. One spark plug cap was 60 kohms. Need to order a new one but just before I did that, I put a brass slug in place of the resistors in the spark plugs. Runs fine now but it is now smoking a lot...I want to say black smoke but its tough to tell without a good white background.
Just changed stem seals since it was drinking oil and smoking....Now i'm questioning this replacement.

Black smoke is a fuel thing, what has been done to the carburetors?

I haven't done anything but clean them. But now that I think about it, the previous owner probably messed with the mixture screws since he had power issues he couldn't figure out.
