I found one. It's not the best, but if you look closely by the pressure sensor you can see the plate has been relieved slightly.attachment.jpg

Any luck with the install? I'm running into the problem with the magnet on the shaft that spins not clearing the magnets on the dyna ignition plate. Does anyone have some tips for installing the dyna s on an 82 650?? I managed to modify the plate to clear the oil pressure sensor, but like i said, the little magnet that spins contacts the magnets on the ignition plate. There are tiny little screws that hold the magnets on to the plate.. can I adjust the clearence that way? or by filing the center magnet? I'm nervous to mess with the screws holding the magnets to the plate, in case that is set a specific way.
SOMEONE HELP!
please? =]

Hey Tom,
I'll take a picture when I get home later, but for now.. if you look at the previously posted picture, the notch that sticks out of the shaft and rotates (pointed up in that picture), is contacting the black magnets on the dyna plate. Should that notch magnet be removed and the black piece that came with the dyna system installed on the mechanical advance behind the plate? That little round black piece didn't seem magnetic to me. The install instructions are so vague..
Thanks all! Pic soon..Last edited by Guest; 09-11-2015, 01:00 PM.
