    82 gs1100e starter trouble

Hey guys, so I picked up a gs1100e for a good deal, and the bike started fine etc. but after we loaded it in my trailer (we bottomed the bike out while doing so) the bike won't start anymore. Absolutely no noise from the starter. The previous owner started it multiple times before this and always first try. Does this sound like a loose wire, or possibly the starter was just on its way out? Thanks for your time, and sorry if I posted in the wrong section!
also, the bike runs fine when we push start it, battery is charged etc. we get power to the headlight and tailight as well when the key is turned on.

Does the starter solenoid "click" when you push button? If no, check its connections first and those at clutch safety switch- the latter might have got bumped when you bottomed out.

When you bottomed out the bike, did it possibly hit the side stand safety switch?

It was the starter solenoid. The previous owner didn't have it bolted down onto its mounting bolts and it was sitting right below them haha. I'm guessing it popped off when we bottomed it out. Thanks for the help again guys, you'll definitely see me posting more often
