Looking into Dyna 3 ohm coils...are the minis worth messing with?
Hi again, as said I'm looking into buying new coils/wires for my bike soon and saw they have the usual sized coils and also the minis that have the same output ... is there a reason one would want/need those minis? My bike is stock throughout...I just want new coils and wires since my wires are toast. I figure on the regular sized ones, but I'm curious about the purpose of the mini version...probably just a size thing but maybe more...Tags: None

Pull and/or dig the wires out of your old coils. Z1 sells 7mm copper core wire so you can replace them.
If you insist on buying new coils be sure to check the factory service manual for your bike to get the resistance values, then compare to any coils you are considering. Many coils are too low in resistance to work with your bikes electrical system.Ed
To measure is to know.
