    signal generator gap?

    I have a 1981 gs1100e. I got the bike kind of apart. does any know what the gap should be? I can find anything about it in the manual.

    Can't say I have ever seen a spec for gap.

    As long as they don't touch, you should be OK.
    I ride many bikes.
    Some are even Suzukis. :D

      Yep. There's really not an adjustment. Make sure nothing's bent and it'll be fine.

        the key is to make sure there isn't any dirt or foreign matter in and around the gap or the static or rotating parts. You can use brake cleaner or carb cleaner to clean the area then blow dry.
