    I need help finding 1980 gs450l coils

I'm pretty sure my coils are fried in not sure how many ohms but i know they are single coils. Can anyone please help me track down a replacement? I have scoured for hours without a good solution. And how many ohms are they? Please and thank you

Both fried, why do you think this? Ignition coils are pretty tough. Measure the primary ohm resistance on each coil- likely be in range of 3 to 5 ohms. There were some units on ebay, but the double plug lead units are much more common.

I accidentally bought dual coils and I have to return them. The reason I believe its the coils is because it starts and runs well until it warms up. Which I am told is a symptom of coil failure

The warmed up ignitor is more likely to behave badly than the ignition coils, but next time it does this check the primary on the coils and compare to what you get when they are cold.

Z1Enterprises.com sells aftermarket single out 4 Ohm coils which are pretty much direct replacements for the old coils you have now. I would get rid of them in any case and install new NGK plug caps at the same time.

you are correct but they do sell dual output Emgo coils that work fine. You can get the single output col at:

If you google Emgo P/N 24-72404 you may find better pricing.
