Lazy tach
Hi guys. I think I've got a lazy tach. When I was on the highway yesterday I noticed the tach reading around 8k and she sounded like she was in the red. Off the highway I noticed the tack stalling then spiking up at 8k. Anyone know how to fix this before I find a replacement.

Twice I've had the cable end that goes into the tach spinning on the end of the cable. How ever it happened the end came loose from the cable. I didn't notice until I pulled on it. Replace the cable and keep under 8k rpmssigpic

I noticed when mine start to bounce or become lazy I pull the cable out spay the inside with a chain/Cable lube then re assemble... Works pretty good...Jedz Moto

I was wondering if it was electric or not. Mine is electronic and tends to waver around at times. I haven't yet been able to detect a pattern though.sigpic
When consulting the magic 8 ball for advice, one must first ask it "will your answers be accurate?"
