Directional dashboard indicator does not blink SOMETIMES

The flasher indicator on the dash does not work sometimes on an 82 GS1100G.

The directionals themselves always blink just fine, both left and right, front and back.

The problem is just the indicator bulb.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Since you said "sometimes", I guess poor indicator bulb contact. Do you like wiring diagrams?

        Single bulb or two?

Clean the contacts in the socket.
